Yes there is a qualifier, but the projection of expectations is still there.

I don't know know Lily Phillips will end up loving or regretting her decisions, but that isn't my choice to make.

Some people will pursue fame at any price.

That isn't what I have chosen for myself, and it isn't what I advise my kids to do, but I don't have the right to tell anybody else what they 'should' do.
